According to a recent press release, a “massive disruption” is planned.
With the blockade of further unnamed neuralgic car routes in Nuremberg, the group wants to persuade everyone in Nuremberg to switch to public transport this week.
"All citizens who want to avoid disabilities are recommended to use public transport this week," writes "Letzte Generation".

Sometime during the current work week between August 15th and 19th.

Planned disruptions to commuter traffic in Nuremberg: the city was not selected at random
On the one hand, the group wants to use the campaign to directly motivate people to switch from cars to buses and trains, and on the other hand to promote an accelerated turnaround in traffic.
Nuremberg was also deliberately chosen because "this policy of false accents can be pinned down to the conflict between pros and cons for the expansion of the Frankenschnellweg or the introduction of a 365-euro ticket".
The action in Nuremberg should set the mood for the 2023 election campaign in Bavaria
The group "Last Generation" has already carried out several actions of this kind.
Most recently, activists stuck to the streets at important traffic junctions in Stuttgart and Munich, among others.
According to the organizers, the fact that Bavaria is chosen again is also due to the state elections in 2023. The topic of climate change and the mobility turnaround should be positioned as an election campaign topic for all parties at an early stage.
