On Sunday, a tornado formed at sea hit the Hérault region and the town of Frontignan, located near Sète, indicates France 3 Occitanie.
This tornado, which was observed at the same time as the arrival of thunderstorms in the region, injured two people and damaged 40 houses and roofs in the town.
The two people injured during this climatic phenomenon have only minor injuries.
Significant damage was caused by the passage of this tornado, as dazzling as it was devastating, the Normandy district having been hit for barely three minutes on Sunday.
Thus, according to Midi Libre, many roofs were damaged, chimneys collapsed, tiles flew off, trees were uprooted and sections of garden walls fell to the ground.

Also according to the regional newspaper, the firefighters quickly arrived in the area to secure the homes and make an estimate of the damage.
Several tornadoes have been observed in recent weeks in France, in particular due to strong gusts and fires.
Thus, a tornado of fire formed in particular during a fire in Gironde, against which firefighters from the Marne came as reinforcements.
