Road users have successfully resuscitated a cyclist lying lifeless on the road.

The man (45) had suffered a heart attack.

Glonn – It was around 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, when passing road users saw a cyclist lying lifeless next to the road on the Kreuz – Reinstorf connecting road in the market town of Glonn.

They immediately began resuscitation measures and called 911, police said.

It was initially unclear whether a traffic accident was the cause.

"However, no signs of this could be found," said a police spokesman.

Cell phone clarifies the man's identity

The cyclist was resuscitated by rescue workers.

He was immediately taken to the Ebersberg Clinic.

The identity of the 54-year-old man from Grafing could only be clarified via the mobile phone he was carrying with him, so that his relatives could be informed.

In the hospital, it quickly became clear that the cyclist had suffered a heart attack, so that third-party fault can be ruled out.

"Thanks to the immediate resuscitation measures by road users, the man's state of health is now stable," said the Ebersberg police.
