The Iranian Supreme National Security Council held a meeting today headed by President Ebrahim Raisi to discuss the latest developments related to the ongoing nuclear negotiations in Vienna with the "Four Plus One" group.

During the meeting, the chief Iranian negotiator, Ali Bagheri Kani, gave an explanation of the latest round of talks in Vienna, which lasted 5 days, and gave full explanations on the content of the ideas proposed by Enrique Mora, Deputy Coordinator of the European Union.

Baqeri said, "Based on the specific strategies, the discussions of the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna focused on putting an end to the political allegations related to the safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency and providing the necessary guarantees to ensure the sustainability of Iran's economic benefit from the nuclear agreement."

The Iranian chief negotiator added: Several meetings of experts have been held to review the ideas presented by the European Union coordinator since the return of the Iranian negotiating delegation to Tehran and the proposals were summarized.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced in a press conference held today that the American side had verbally agreed to two proposals for Iran, indicating that the final Iranian proposals would be sent to the European side tonight.
