The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that there has been relative progress in the Vienna negotiations, noting at the same time that it does not achieve all of Tehran's demands, which are waiting for the embargo to be lifted.
Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said during his weekly press conference today, in response to a question about the negotiations, according to IRNA agency, “There is a relative development in the negotiations, but it does not achieve all our demands, and we are waiting for the embargo to be lifted. We also have other expectations from the other side, and we believe that the interests of the Iranian people must be achieved.”
Kanaani added: "We are in an advanced stage of negotiations and reaching an agreement related to achieving our demands, which if respected, could soon witness the signing of the agreement."
He pointed out that the Iranian negotiating team participated in the negotiations in order to reach a sustainable and good agreement with the aim of canceling the unjust embargo on Iran.
Kanani stressed that canceling the unjust and unilateral embargo on Iran will help it play a more serious role in providing the world's energy needs, noting that this depends on the efforts and will of the negotiating parties to the nuclear agreement, especially the US government.
Regarding the recent Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, Kanani reiterated that the Zionist entity's system is based on aggression, terrorism and massacres, saying that this aggression came as a continuation of the aggressive and brutal policies of the Zionist entity, as its structure is based on aggression, terrorism, massacres and the killing of children.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman considered that the aggressive practices of the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people were caused by the internal and crisis conditions of this entity, calling on the international community to take serious and deterrent measures against these aggressive behaviors.
In response to a question about Iranian-Russian cooperation, Kanaani said that cooperation between the two countries exists in many fields, including technological fields, pointing out that the US government's claims are political and its goals are political, and instead of raising these issues, America must fulfill its obligations to establish peace and stability in the region and not to interfere in bilateral relations. for other countries.
