With the participation of 65 films representing 25 countries, the Docker International Film Festival for Documentary Films opened in Moscow today and will continue until the 24th of this month.
According to TASS, the jury included Russian director Sergei Dvortsevoy, German screenwriter Zoya Schmiderer and Pakistani documentary filmmaker and poet Ammar Aziz.
The festival will be held at the Cinema House (October) in Moscow for the second time, with the support of the Russian cinema network (Karo. Art) to show films.
The festival opened with the screening of the historical cinematic epic (The Red Africa), directed by the Russian Alexander Markov, and the film (City of Talking Winds) directed by the Iranian Ali Reza Degan will be shown at its closing ceremony.
