An indictment was filed today (Monday) at the Haifa Magistrate's Court against three nannies and assistants at a nursery school in the Tsurit settlement in the Mashgav Regional Council.
The three, residents of the nearby Bedouin village of Salama, Aden and Subhaya Souaed as 22 years old and Sheikha Souaed as 41 years old, were arrested about two weeks ago for abusing a nursery, where babies and toddlers aged 0-3.
The indictment attributes to them a large number of assault offenses under aggravated circumstances, some of which were recorded on the security cameras at the kindergarten.
The indictment, which spans over 12 pages, includes harsh descriptions of the actions of nine of the 19 children of the kindergarten, which were recorded during about a week in July and revealed in the videos.
Parents of children in kindergarten drew the attention of the management who called an inspector to watch them, and at the same time complained to the police.
The affair was investigated at Karmiel station.

According to the indictment, they attacked the toddlers who were supposed to take care of them, among other things by holding them tightly, pulling them by the hands while swinging them in the air, as well as picking them up and slamming them firmly onto mattresses.
The indictment also states that they covered babies up to their heads.
In the indictment it is described that some of the babies were pinched, shaken in the playpen or pushed and pressed to the mattress.
It is also described that the assistants used to swing babies in the air while holding them with only one hand and suck them while pulling with one leg.
According to the indictment, during the acts, the babies burst into tears from time to time, which did not cause the three to stop their actions.
However, the suspected abuse offenses did not materialize into any charges and therefore the case will not proceed in the district court as the police had expected.
At the same time as the filing of the indictment, the Haifa District Attorney's Office, through the prosecutor, Adv. Dr. Dov Hirsch and attorney Yoni Dadon are studying the investigation file, the vice president, judge Tal Tadmor-Zamir, extended their detention until another decision.
