Spectacular, it shows a police car which buffers that of a driver who has just committed a refusal to comply.
The scene took place last week, in the heart of Paris.
The recalcitrant, extricated from his vehicle, was arrested on the spot.
Since then, the court has sentenced him to two years in prison, including one firm, a sentence which will however be adjusted.
Without any illusions, we would like this sequence, which restores color to public authority, to cause an electric shock, to be the signal of a return in force to the rule of law.
A whistle that puts an end to the impunity of troublemakers of all kinds, to anti-cop hatred, to the lost territories of the Republic… The list is long of all the stigmata that bear witness to the savagery of our society.
No offense to the Keeper of the Seals, who disputed the reality...
