The companies affiliated with the General Organization for Engineering Industries have produced products worth 109.324 billion Syrian pounds since the beginning of this year until the 31st of last year, with a growth rate of 106 percent over the same period last year, which recorded 102.993 billion Syrian pounds.

According to the production and marketing report of the corporation’s companies, SANA obtained a copy of it. The Damascus Cable Company came first with a production value of about 63.152 billion pounds, metal constructions came second with about 15.352 billion pounds, and Hama iron third with about 13.572 billion pounds, followed by Aleppo Cables with 12.839 billion pounds, and Barada Company 2.610 billion pounds and batteries Aleppo 882 million pounds, Canar manufacturing 681 million pounds, and Serenex 234 million pounds.

The report indicated that the corporation's companies sold during the mentioned period at a value of 113.288 billion pounds, with a growth rate of 109 percent over the same period last year.

According to the report, Damascus Cable Company came first with sales of 59.703 billion Syrian pounds, Hama iron second with 21.364 billion pounds, Aleppo cables third with 12.318 billion pounds, metal constructions 15.611 billion pounds, Barry 2.737 billion pounds, Aleppo batteries 751 million pounds, Canar Manufacturing Industries 602 million pounds, and Seronics with more than 198 million pounds. pound.

The report pointed out that companies' stocks increased by about 3.521 billion pounds from the beginning of this year, reaching their value until the end of last July to 18.130 billion pounds.

In a statement to SANA’s reporter, Abdullah Al-Nama’a, the Director-General of the Corporation, said that the Corporation is working continuously to increase the productivity of companies, expand their markets and increase their sales by paying attention to the quality and specifications of the product and studying the market’s need despite all the difficulties it faces in terms of securing spare parts for machines, and a number of its companies and production lines have stopped working. the work.

Al-Naama pointed out that the Corporation continues to offer many investment projects that will improve the performance of companies, improve products and increase their reliability among their customers, as well as studying the problems of workers and working to find solutions to them, which increases worker productivity and benefits companies.

Al-Nama said that a contract was approved to rehabilitate the medium tension production line, with a value of more than 10 billion pounds, and an insulation machine, with a value of more than 4 billion pounds, for Aleppo Cables Company, which enables the company to enhance its production capacity and expand its activity in the market.
