Ankara-Sana
A storm accompanied by heavy rain swept the Turkish capital, Ankara, today, causing flooding of streets and uprooting trees.
And the Turkish regime's spokeswoman, Anadolu Agency, quoted local authorities as saying that citizens and drivers in Ankara faced difficult moments due to heavy rains and unexpected storms, as strong winds uprooted trees in some streets of the capital.
In turn, the meteorologists said that such rains are normal in the summer and that they are usually intense and of a short duration.
In early June, heavy rains in Ankara led to the formation of torrential rains that submerged homes and cars in a number of areas.
