The incident occurred two days after the terrorist attack carried out by the terrorist Amir Sidavi in the Old City of Jerusalem, in which eight people were injured, two of them seriously.
The attack took place in two arenas, adjacent to each other.
The first is on Maale HaShalom Street, where the bus was traveling.
During the trip, the driver stopped to help a passenger in a wheelchair get on the bus.
At that moment, the terrorist emerged and took advantage of the open doors to shoot at the bus passengers.
The scene of the second attack was on Ma'ale Street, near the entrance to the parking lot of the Tomb of King David, where the terrorist fired at a private vehicle.
"There was a lot of chaos, we remember a lot of panic and screaming," said Roy and Naftali, who were traveling on the bus at the time of the attack.
"We both got on at the Western Wall station and sat down in the back seat. Suddenly the bus stopped abruptly. We noticed that the driver opened the doors and helped a passenger in a wheelchair get on. At that point the terrorist arrived and started shooting at the bus."
