The detention of the teacher suspected of sexual offenses against her student in the north was extended today (Monday) for the second time, this after Judge Shlomo Michael Erdman refuted the central defense's claim, according to which the girl initiated the sexual relationship between the two.
In his decision to extend the trial, he noted that the actions carried out by the investigators since the teacher's arrest was extended last week, strengthened the suspicion against her.
"Actually, there is no dispute about at least some of the offenses because they were committed, there is a dispute about the exploitation of mental illness and about who initiated the execution of the acts."
He stated that "the investigation is relatively close to completion".
The police accuse the teacher, a 41-year-old resident of a kibbutz in the north, of committing indecent acts on a minor under the age of 16, while taking advantage of their conversion relationship, and also causing her student to commit serious sexual acts on her own through video calls.
