The Ministry of Emergency Situations in Armenia announced that the death toll from the explosion of a shopping center in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, has risen to six.
Sputnik news agency quoted a spokesman for the ministry as saying that according to the latest statistics received, six people were killed and 61 others were injured as a result of yesterday's explosion at a warehouse for fireworks materials in Surmalo Shopping Center in Yerevan.
He pointed out that the ministry's firefighting teams are still struggling to put out the fire caused by the explosion.
The previous outcome indicated the death of one person and the injury of 26 others.
