N'Djamena-Sana
Two Chadian soldiers were killed in an attack by the terrorist group, Boko Haram, linked to ISIS, in the Lake Chad region, north of the capital, N'Djamena.
AFP quoted the head of the ruling military council as saying in a statement: "The terrorist group Boko Haram launched an attack in the vicinity of the Pool area, 300 km north of N'Djamena, killing two soldiers," noting that dozens of terrorists were killed during the army's response to the attack.
It is noteworthy that the terrorist group has launched attacks since 2015 in Chad, Cameroon and Niger, where its attacks in the Lake Chad Basin countries have killed more than 2,000 people and fled 360,000 others.
