The scourge of violence in the country continues:
a furniture truck driver hit a furniture warehouse manager on the head with the leg of a wooden furniture with a screw on the end, only because he asked him not to unload empty cartons instead.
The accused, 25 years old from Petach Tikva, works as a delivery driver for a furniture company with another employee and he usually makes deliveries to the company's warehouses.
About two weeks ago, in the morning, the two arrived in a truck to the place to unload goods and, among other things, they also began to unload empty cartons.
The warehouse manager asked the employee not to unload them on the spot, and even helped him return the cartons to the truck.

About half an hour later, the accused arrived and, despite the warehouse manager's request, continued to unload cartons on the spot.
Following this, the warehouse manager got into the truck and put his hands on the defendant's back.
In response to this, the accused turned around and punched him in the face, resulting in the complainant's head flying back and workers present separated the two.
The warehouse manager got off the truck and when he tried to talk to an employee of the company on the spot, the accused continued to threaten him saying "I will fuck you" and reached out to him.
One of the workers kept him away by pushing him back and as a result the accused tripped and fell.
Under these circumstances, the complainant approached the accused and tried to kick him, but the accused managed to block the kicks and stood up, while workers at the scene kept the complainant away from him.
Later, the manager of the place arrived and ordered the defendant to finish unloading the goods and stay away from the place.
Immediately after that, the accused approached the cardboard area and took from there a leg of a piece of solid wood furniture about half a meter long with a screw at the end, ran towards the warehouse manager who at the time was standing far away from him with his back to him and hit him hard with the stick on his head.
He fell to the floor, lost consciousness and started bleeding from the head.
Following this, he was referred to the Rabin Medical Center in Hasharon Hospital, where he was diagnosed with serious injuries.
Police officers from the Kfar Qasem station in the Sharon region who arrived at the scene arrested the suspect in the act.
In the last few days, the prosecution department of the Sharon police filed an indictment against him for serious bodily injury, threats and assault, which reads, among other things: "In his actions described above, the accused inflicted unlawful serious injury on the complainant, threatened the complainant with bodily harm and also attacked the complainant."
