Eilat Kolman lost her late husband Adiel in an attack in the Old City • Ephraim Rimel was widowed by his wife after an Arab driver hit their car • Yesterday they were married in an emotional ceremony: "We continue our missions in this world"

Ephraim Rimel, who lost his wife and daughter in a car accident, and Eilat Kolman, who lost her husband in a terrorist attack, got married yesterday (Monday) at the Psagot Winery in Benjamin.

Four years ago, Adiel Kolman, 32 years old, father of four and a resident of Kochav Hashar in Benjamin, was murdered.

Coleman was stabbed when he was on his way back from work on Hay Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, by a Palestinian terrorist - an illegal resident from the Nablus area.

The terrorist was killed by a policeman who was there.

Adiel was mortally wounded and a day later he was pronounced dead.

The Rimel family from the settlement of Neve Tsuf in Binyamin was injured in a car accident on Route 443 at the Ofer junction, when an Arab driver traveling at excessive speed collided with the family's car while it was at a red light.

The mother of the family, Tzipi, and their one-month-old daughter, Noam, were killed in the accident.

The 12-year-old son Itai was fatally injured, and the father Ephraim was very seriously injured.

"Believe in the institution of marriage"

In a conversation with Israel Hayom, the groom Ephraim Rimel said: "Life goes on. The task or mitzvah of choosing life is a way of life, it does not come to erase the past. On the contrary, it is based on the past and what was before. We are reaching chapter 2 not because That chapter 1 was not good. Unfortunately it is over. We believe in the institution of marriage, and we believe in building houses and we try to stick to life and continue in spite of everything and in spite of everything in our life's burden in order to try and get the most we can from the meaning of life.

"It was clear to me, and I think to Eilat as well, that the fact that we stayed here means that we have tasks and we have things to do and we have wills to continue the life we had before. This does not mean that it is easy or that it is simple, or that it is self-evident, but it was clear to us that our tasks are not completed and that we must do everything to continue our tasks in this world."

The two wrote in a joint post on their Facebook pages when they got engaged four months ago: "You have become a funeral for me. The Lord God is with you forever. We are happy and excited to announce that at a good and successful time we got engaged! Thank you all for the support and support all along the way. Happy Shabbat Shalom. Eilat and Ephraim."
