The police have been looking for Grigoriy S since the beginning of August. Now the officials are speaking out again - and are asking the population for help.
Giebelstadt - The search for missing persons in Lower Franconia continues.
Police are still looking for a missing 70-year-old man.
This emerges from a press release from August 16th.
Grigoriy S. from Giebelstadt still missing
He could possibly be in a helpless position.
The extensive search measures that have been carried out since August 5 have been unsuccessful.
The public is again being asked to help with the search.
The missing person is Grigoriy S. from Giebelstadt. He was last seen on Friday (August 5) at his home address on Sulzdorfer Weg.
Since then, the man has disappeared without a trace.
"Due to his state of health, it is not unlikely that he is in a helpless situation," police said.

Man from Giebelstadt missing: police ask for information
In the meantime, the Würzburg criminal police have taken over the investigation in the case due to their jurisdiction.
However, there is still no evidence of a crime.
Since the man has been missing for a week and a half, "it can no longer be ruled out that he is already in neighboring counties."
