Giovanni Zarrella presents his latest hit in the ZDF television garden.
With "Non Puoi Lasciarmi Cosi" he wants to inspire the audience.
However, hate comments against the Italian pop singer are accumulating on Twitter because he covers a well-known song by the Backstreet Boys.
Mainz - On August 14, the "ZDF TV Garden" and pop fans can look forward to Giovanni Zarrella.
The Italian pop singer will present his latest song at the open-air show on Lerchenberg in Mainz.
But the cover version of the international hit is not well received by the audience.

"Quit Playing Games" is a popular song by the Backstreet Boys.
It entered the charts in 1996 and reached number 1 in five countries, including Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Of course, Giovanni Zarrella also wants to build on the success of the boy band and translates the song into Italian.

With "Non Puoi Lasciarmi Cosi" he now wants to get the TV Garden audience in the mood.
While there is a lot of clapping on the spot, viewers tear up the new version of the international hit on Twitter.
Comments such as: "The Backstreet Boys didn't deserve this" or "don't mess up the Backstreet Boys in Italian" are piling up on Twitter.

But among all the criticism, some fans can also be found.
"Finally a big hit again," says a happy Twitter user, for example.
After his performance, Giovanni Zarrella surprises the audience with short singing interludes with moderator Andrea Kiewel.

But the Italian singer is also surprised by his Schlager colleagues.
Howard Carpendale was suddenly on stage when Giovanni Zarrella performed.
A big surprise not only for the singer, but also for the entire audience.
