A fire broke out in a luxury hotel in Eilat - an entire floor was evacuated

The firefighters who arrived at the Magic Palace Hotel in the city evacuated the guests on the floor where the fire broke out on one of the balconies.

There was no damage to the rest of the building and no one was injured

A fire broke out this evening (Tuesday) on the balcony of a room at the Magic Palace Hotel in Eilat.

There were no injuries in the incident, but the balcony was damaged.

Following the fire, the entire floor was evacuated, but guests are expected to return to normal soon.

The firefighters arrived at the scene, prevented the fire from spreading and evacuated the guests.

Later they carried out scans and ventilated the rooms on the other floors where smoke had penetrated.
