This is the bet taken by the villages of Rogliano and Tomino, located at the tip of Cap Corse.
Like other territories in France, the two neighboring municipalities will install a desalination plant in the port of Macinaggio, located in Rogliano.

The fear of the cut is at the origin of this project, in gestation since January:
“We expect every day to be out of water”,

confides Patrice Quilici, first magistrate of Rogliano.
It must be said that the two villages are in an untenable situation, accentuated by very high tourist numbers in the summer.
From 700 inhabitants in winter to 5000 in July and August.
Faced with this attendance, the municipal reserve of Rogliano, with a capacity of 48,000 m3, dropped this summer to 8,000 m3
