Baruch Yona, 57 years old from Jerusalem, went on vacation in Nueva in Sinai with his wife and their two children - and drowned.

His body was returned to Israel today (Tuesday) through the Taba crossing, and the funeral will leave at 14:00 from the Shamgar cemetery in Jerusalem.

"He was with the two children on the beach and I saw them all the time," told Walla!

Baruch's partner.

"At one point I brought them water to drink, then I went into the room to change into a bathing suit to go in with them. When I came out I didn't see them and I saw people who were so frightened and running and I realized that something had happened. I ran myself, saw the children and calmed down. But then they told me that dad was inside."

"Until now I don't know what happened exactly, but it's probably because of the tide. There was a drift of the water," she explained.

"The children were wearing floats and all kinds of things. They were probably adrift and he tried to pull them to shore. From what I understand, he initially had a weak pulse, they did CPR on the spot, but unfortunately it didn't work."
