The rumors that surfaced online over the past few weeks were true, and we're not sure how many asked for the upcoming update: EA announces a collaboration with the comic book giant Marvel ahead of this year's World Cup, introducing famous former footballers as superheroes in FIFA 23.
EA has revealed five designs so far :
Landon Donovan, Ricardo Carvalho, Claudio Marchisio, Yaya Toure and Park Ji-sung
More cards will be revealed later, and will be available in the series' popular Ultimate Team mode when FIFA launches on September 23.

EA said: "Heroes cards will be available in Ultimate Team, and their purpose is to celebrate and celebrate the careers of the players, their clubs, and their countries. Each of the FUT cards will contain items specially designed for the launch of the World Cup mode."
EA has complained more than once that FIFA restricts it in its games, and it is likely that next year when it will launch EA FC Sports without the involvement of the organization, it will be able to continue to expand its collaborations, such as the one with Marvel.
This is an approach that has become very common in the industry , and also Fortnite, PUBG, Call of Duty, Minecraft and many other online games carry out extensive collaborations on their platforms with well-known brands. Fortnite even went so far and became a social platform that also holds events and live performances within the game.

There is quite a bit of criticism about FIFA's Ultimate Team mode, and many countries in Europe consider the game mechanics to be gambling and some have even outlawed it. Despite the claims and bans, it is still EA's most popular game mode.
Although here at the Gaming Channel we do not necessarily advocate Using "loot box" mechanics, but players who enjoy Ultimate Teams (and there are quite a few of them) will probably find the new cards a cool new addition.
