Cai Zhanpeng, who had visited a massage parlor and was involved in prostitution, admitted in court that he had been to Viet Spa 4 or 5 times

The first director of the National Security Division of the Police Force, Cai Zhanpeng, suspected that he had visited a massage parlor involving the provision of sexual services. The trial was continued in the Eastern District Court today (16th). The defendant was ruled that prima facie evidence was established. The defense revealed that Cai Zhanpeng gave a testimony in the afternoon.

In his confession, Cai revealed that when the police raided Viet Spa last year, Cai Zheng and a woman were in a room of the spa.

He also revealed that he has been to Viet Spa 4 to 5 times.

Senior Assistant Police Commissioner Cai Zhanpeng confessed that he is currently the Director of Personnel and Training and the Director of National Security at the time of the incident.

Cai agreed that when the police raided Viet Spa on March 19, 2021, Cai was in a room at the spa with a woman.

When asked if he had been to Viet Spa in the past, Cai said he had been there in the past, about 4 to 5 times in total.

Cai recalled that his first visit to Viet Spa was in mid-2020, and he also visited a week before the incident.

The four defendants: masseuse Li Yiqing (36 years old), unemployed woman Yuan Qiuxiang (34 years old, Vietnamese), masseuse Zhang Mingfang (35 years old), and unemployed man Hu Bingxiong (61 years old).

The three female defendants were each charged with one count of managing a prostitution establishment, namely VIET SPA on the 1st floor of Shengyi Building, Johnston Road, Wanchai, on November 5, 2020 and March 19, 2021 respectively; Li and Yuen were also charged with one count of management A massage parlor without a valid license; the only male defendant, Hu Bingxiong, is charged with operating a prostitution establishment at the same location from October 28, 2020 to March 19, 2021, and operating a massage parlor without a valid operating license.
