Use electrical energy sparingly.
EDF has been hammering this message since the beginning of the summer in Corsica when the situation has never been so tense.
A letter addressed to the mayors of the island at the beginning of July sets the tone:
“The demand for electricity that Corsica is currently experiencing has never been so high in the summer season.
The Corsican electricity system is entering a tense situation given the temperature forecasts for the coming weeks.
The electricity company speaks of power peaks at 400 MW, which is 60 MW higher than peaks at normal temperature.
From there to evoke a rupture of the network?

, the electrician does not go that far but makes the same observation of tension as at the start of the summer:
“All our means of production are currently available and can be mobilized.
We have been preparing for this summer for several months.”
While giving moderation instructions to the inhabitants:
