Although the beer tents for the Erdinger Herbstfest are already up, there was a lot of activity at the flea market on the Volksfestplatz on Saturday.
The offer was huge: beer mugs, clothing, crockery, kitchen utensils, paintings, radios and toys of all kinds. Well-preserved children's shoes for 50 cents, a plastic castle for two euros or a leather motorcycle suit for ten euros - bargain hunters had the choice.
Isolde Rauch had come from Maria Thalheim with her grandnieces.
As an unusual piece, she presented a pink wall clock with a running second hand for three euros at her stand.
And where can you find leather trousers for eight euros?
"It used to fit my son," said Rita from Erding.
And Hans Erber was happy to finally have found a charging cable for his old camera.
"They are no longer available in stores." The next flea market will take place on September 17th.
