First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, her spokeswoman Elizabeth Alexander announced Tuesday, and is suffering from "cold-like symptoms."
She is receiving the same medication, Paxlovid, as her husband, President Joe Biden, when she fell ill in July (he is now cured), and is in isolation at her home in South Carolina.
Jill Biden, 71, is vaccinated against the coronavirus and has received two booster doses.

The president tested negative for the virus on Tuesday, according to the White House, but will wear a mask inside for 10 days, according to the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, in English).
He recovered from a resurgence of the virus on August 7.
