Weisselberg's statement may come Thursday at 9 am.

Terms of the long-awaited deal have not yet been disclosed.

Last week, Judge Juan Merchán denied Weisselberg's attempt to dismiss the charges, arguing that the evidence presented to the grand jury was "legally sufficient."

A spokesman for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg declined to comment.

The Trump Organization faces separate charges, but there are no criminal charges against Trump, who is the subject of a series of criminal investigations that have drawn national attention since the FBI raid of his Florida mansion, Mar-a- Lake, last Monday.

As a result of the search, threats against officers have skyrocketed.

Some Trump supporters have called the search of his property a "civil war," while one person attacked an FBI field office.

Meanwhile, a Pennsylvania man was arrested Monday and charged with making threats on the website of the right-wing social network Gab.
