An attentive resident in Geretsried prevented a bicycle theft.
The perpetrator fled the dust and the police caught him.
Geretsried – An attentive resident prevented a bicycle theft on Sunday around 9.20 a.m. at Sudetenstraße 10. He had observed a man trying to saw the lock on a locked bicycle.
When the witness spoke to the perpetrator, he fled.

The police were able to pick him up not far from the scene of the crime.
According to the press report, it is a 66-year-old Geretsrieder who is being held in a psychiatric facility.
The police took him back there.
The bicycle lock suffered damage of 50 euros.
