The TV presenter, who is currently in Israel for a family vacation, was surprised to discover that for two cups of coffee and a single pastry, one person had to part with an amount close to fifty shekels.

Haim Etgar has not yet reached the destination of the family vacation that is being prepared, and his mouth is already filled with a bitter taste.

The reason, if you were wondering, does not lie in the nature of the drink he purchased, but in its high and excessive price.

In a series of stories that he uploaded today (Tuesday) to his page on the social network Instagram, which has about 100 thousand followers, he protested the exorbitant prices he had to pay for two cups of coffee and the accompanying pastry.

"Almost fifty shekels. It's cheaper in Dubai. Bring a thermos from home," Bastori wrote.

"It's a scandal what's happening in the National Bank of Israel.

You are waiting for the luggage, you are stuck, and you have no choice there.

I am with two little girls on a journey that is long and winding, and at the end they take something like ten shekels for Bamba.

Why?

Filled one or two times.

I understand that there are very high cost prices, the question is why?

In the end it belongs to the state.

And secondly I guess they are well spaced.

You can make a good profit even while taking their fair price.

When I asked if there was a coffee and pastry deal, I was told 'No!

Only for the port workers!'.

Compare it to anywhere else in the world - it's crazy," he ruled. "You can make a good profit and also be decent.

I think it will be nice for people everywhere, even in Israel, they will earn and be decent. If it is necessary to reduce the costs that the state takes, then someone will take care of it," he added.

When we approached Chaim Etgar and asked him if he was active on other levels in the war on the cost of living, he replied: "My hands are full working around the clock. I note in protest in the accounts on the networks, I refer to it quite a lot, I hope for the best. There was an item or two that came to the programs and I agreed to talk about It's with pleasure. I'm not a consumer reporter. I'm in this matter like any citizen, I have active social networks."
