Sandra and the engaged couple Manja and Martin are particularly well known.

The unequal couple not only has an age difference of 15 years, but also a difficult fate.

46-year-old Manja has been in a wheelchair since 2009 due to her multiple sclerosis disease.

In Episode 32 of Season 3, there is a burglary in the Blockmacherring of the city of Groß-Klein.

There was already an attempted break-in two years ago, but this time the burglars actually struck.

Martin shows the broken front door and reports on the chaos in his apartment.

The entire living room is devastated.

DVDs were thrown off the shelf, the kettle was stolen and his mobile phone was taken.

Martin and Manja are deeply shocked.

At the time of the fact, the two are attending a friends' birthday party.

The couple did not return home until around 5 a.m. and discovered the broken door.

Your neighbors say they didn't know anything about the incident.

However, the burglary is not an unknown phenomenon in the prefabricated buildings in Rostock.

The police even suspect a gang of burglars, since such incidents occur often.

In addition to the kettle and Martin's mobile phone, the front door key can no longer be found, so the lock now has to be replaced.

Manja in particular has been worried about her safety since the burglary.

Since the front door, including the frame and lock, is damaged, Martin now takes care of a new lock and the necessary repairs.

With the help of his namesake and good friend Martin, he quickly implements this project.

The couple must bear the cost of the new lock themselves.

As a Hartz IV recipient, additional expenses like this are a particularly heavy financial burden.

But why didn't the people of Rostock report the incident to their insurance company?

Since Martin didn't lock the door, he adds, he won't be reimbursed for the cost of repairing and replacing the stolen items.

So Manja and Martin are stuck with the damage.

The 31-year-old is particularly upset about his mistake.

This may have prevented the burglary.

However, there is one ray of hope for the Rostockers: The application for renovation work on the bathroom has been approved and Manja is finally getting a barrier-free and handicapped accessible bathroom.

The 46-year-old is dependent on a wheelchair due to her multiple sclerosis.

Manja is very happy about the commitment and can therefore organize her everyday life without any worries.

In return, the couple put up with the long construction work in their apartment.

The inconvenience is still worth it to them.
