A widespread phenomenon

Meanwhile, in recent years, we have witnessed the phenomenon of the destruction of tombstones in various cemeteries in Israel.

About a year and a half ago it was published in "Israel Hayom" about minors who butchered tombstones and took pictures of themselves on social networks.

The head of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council, Nir Zamir, said at the time that "Criminals must not be allowed to continue terrorizing the cemeteries. I call on the police to act with full force against this phenomenon and to provide all the necessary resources to put an end to this unacceptable situation. We must put an end to this situation and I I believe in the police's ability to do this."
