Kaufering – This climber is still a lot of fun!
The 2-0 win against Bayernliga relegated TSV Schwabmünchen was followed by a 0-0 draw at the strong SC Olching and a 2-2 win against SC Oberweikertshofen for the newcomer to the state league, VfL Kaufering.
Coach Ben Enthart's team is unbeaten in five games and has lost only once.
"As long as we don't lose, I'm happy.
Even with this draw, especially since the game in Olching took a lot of energy,” says the coach.
After seven games he realized: "With top preparation and a top attitude you can win against any team in this league - but you can also lose.
Overall, all teams are roughly on the same level.”
Ride on razor blade
With five points from the English week, Kaufering remains in the lead - hats off to this performance!
However, Enthart admitted: "The game against Oberweikertshofen was again a ride on the razor blade for both teams."
Marcel Lex equalized just two minutes after Wiedemann with a header after a corner kick and in the 44th minute he made sure that the Kauferinger team were 2-1 up with a shot that was actually "durable" (Enthart).
But then it was Wiedemann again who scored to make it 2-2 (68').
"Five points from the English week, only one defeat in seven games - that's something to be proud of," says Enthart, who has great praise for the Kaufering fans ready: "There were around 300 spectators again, that's for ours conditions great.
And we get a lot of positive feedback.
It's all great fun."
Two away games are now waiting for the Lechrain promoted team: on Saturday (4 p.m.) at SV Mering (lost 3-0 at FC Ehekirchen under the eyes of Sascha Mölders) and on Sunday, August 28, in Ehekirchen.
