Prague - Sana
Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus asserted that the United States' plans failed in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, and therefore it is searching through Ukraine for geopolitical success in order to show that it is still the dominant country in the world.
In an article published in the Czech newspaper Mlada Fronta Dennis, Klaus said: “The attempt to expand NATO towards the Russian borders is what has created tension and anxiety in this region of the world,” stressing that the war in Ukraine is not, in essence, a Russian-Ukrainian war, but between Russia and the West.
Klaus pointed out that Ukraine has failed to create a government that brings together and unite the various segments of the population, and therefore it has not been able to lead the process of political and economic transformation that makes it a united, strong and independent country.
