Deir Ezzor-SANA
The American occupation forces announced that a missile attack targeted its base in the Al-Omar oil field in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, less than 24 hours after an attack on its base in the Al-Tanf area in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The American occupation forces, which lead the so-called international coalition to combat the terrorist organization (ISIS), said in a statement today that a number of rockets landed in the vicinity of its base near the Al-Omar oil field on Monday evening, without causing any casualties.
The statement pointed out that "a number of missiles did not explode and were recovered" in cooperation with what it described as its partners, the SDF-backed militia.
The statement did not mention any injuries or damages as a result of the targeting.
The attack came hours after targeting the US occupation base in the Al-Tanf area in the eastern countryside of Homs, near the Syrian-Iraqi border, with a number of missiles fired by drones.
The American occupation forces established illegal military bases in areas they occupied in cooperation with armed and other terrorist groups, including a base in the Al-Omar oil field in Deir Ezzor and a major military base in the Al-Tanf area since 2014 under the pretext of fighting the terrorist organization (ISIS), while the facts later confirmed that the American occupation forces had taken From its base, it is a starting point to support the terrorist organizations that are already deployed in the area, including the so-called (Maghawir al-Thawra) and groups of ISIS terrorists, to recycle them and use them in attacking Syrian Arab Army positions, population centers and vital facilities in the Syrian Badia region.
