The fighter who was shot to death last night (Monday), Natan Pitosi, will be laid to rest this evening at the military cemetery in Netanya.
Nathan has three older sisters.
The twins, Atel and Salome, told Vala about who their brother was.
"We are a very Zionist and believing family - Natan was a hidden tzaddik. One of thirty-six righteous people.
He embraced us with his faith," the sisters said.
"It is important for us to know that Natan happened to him because all his life he was only a giver, he lived to give.
He gave a smile, charity, food and thanks to him we got to Israel.
We lived in Paris," continued the sisters, who also served before Nathan in the army, and asked to light candles in his memory. "Nathan was spiritual and connected to the world to come and to the Holy of Holies.
There was a feeling that it was something that was going to happen."
The sisters also said that Natan really loved the army, "He knew it was holy work," they explained. According to them, Natan wanted to be a warrior. "He liked talking to Hashem and skateboarding, being with friends.
Everyone used to meet, everyone knew Nathan," said the sisters.

In Netanya they also expressed grief over the event and Natan's death.
"I knew Natan as a child and a teenager who prayed in our community, what a charm of a guy, all heart, an energy bomb of goodness, sociability and endless personal charm," said the cantor of the synagogue where Pitosi used to go, Raphael Bitan Nativ.
"His excellent growth was always an exceptional thing, despite the French community's struggles with the challenges of immigration, the situation of the youth and integration into the Israeli fabric, Natan always managed to pave the way for himself, with a humble and captivating smile and with perseverance and a desire to succeed, he integrated excellently into the life of the vibrant community and was loved and well-liked everywhere He was there," the cantor continued.
"I loved him even in the few words we exchanged between us, he loves his family and sends them reinforcements and wishes of comfort. No less than that, he sends a lot of strength to the soldier who made an operational mistake and this 'duty' was carried out by him."
The mayor of Netanya, Miriam Fierberg-Icher, wrote on her Facebook page: "Along with the residents of the city of Netanya, I mourn the loss of the city's first sergeant Natan Fitousi, who was killed tonight. Natan immigrated several years ago with his family from France, a graduate of Tamar Ariel High School , was a diligent student who always strived to succeed. I share in the family's grief and send them my condolences."
