The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, Eng. Ahmed Zaher, told SANA reporter that a catering control was organized in violation of a shortage of catering flour allocations against Al-Hawiz Bakery, the amount of 88 bags of flour, a fine of twenty-four million and 420 thousand Syrian pounds, and a catering control in violation of an increase in the ration flour allocations against a bakery. Zaher added: Twenty catering seizures have been organized in violation of the leakage from the line with the intention of trading in diesel against Serafis, as Takamul will be addressed to stop the service allocations, in addition to organizing five catering seizures in violation of selling and advertising at an excessive price for chickens and foodstuffs in the neighborhoods of Ugarit, Saliba and Al-Quwatli, and four catering seizures in violation of non-possession A purchase invoice for broilers in Saqoubin and Ugarit Square, in addition to organizing a catering control in violation of giving irregular invoices to a wholesale distribution car in Jableh, as well as organizing a catering control against a wholesale food distributor for a violation of concealing and destroying bills to mislead the Consumer Protection Agency.
Zaher indicated that a number of rationing seizures were organized between violations of not possessing a purchase invoice and not announcing prices for a variety of materials, including makeup in the Daya market, flowers in Zagazigania, mineral water in the new industrial zone, vegetables and fruits in the Apamia complex, Qardaha, Kalamakho, notebooks on Maghreb Al Arabi Street, clothes in Annaba, and equipment. Medical supplies in al-Quwatli, food supplies in the seventh project, al-Raml al-Janoubi, al-Saliba, Jableh, and al-Hanadi, and children's clothing at the merchants market for mineral water in Jableh.
Zaher pointed out that nine samples of food and non-food items were taken to conduct the necessary analyzes and indicate their compliance with the standard specifications.
