Police record of the first weekend of the folk festival: Numerous physical injuries on Saturday

When alcohol is involved, an argument can quickly become violent.
This could be seen again at the folk festival in Dachau at the weekend.

According to the police, at the start of the folk festival on Saturday there was a large number of visitors on the festival grounds.
Sunday and Monday were quieter for the emergency services.
Dachau
‒ On Saturday at around 9:30 p.m., a 21-year-old from Dachau threw a glass at a 27-year-old guest from Austria in front of the Ziegler tent, who was then taken to the hospital to have the cut on his head treated.
At around 11:10 p.m., a 20-year-old man from Indersdorf was knocked down by unknown assailants in front of the Ziegler tent and sustained a head injury when he hit the ground, which also had to be treated in the hospital.
At around 11:50 p.m., a 32-year-old from Pfaffenhofen ad Ilm - also at the Ziegler tent - punched a 26-year-old woman from Dachau in the stomach.
The Pfaffenhofener was later involved in a scuffle with a 42-year-old from the district of Pfaffenhofen at around 0.15 a.m., as a result of which the two also physically attacked the police and law enforcement officers,
one police officer suffered minor abrasions.
The two men from the Pfaffenhofen district are also being investigated for assaulting police officers.
On Sunday, on the other hand, there was only one case of physical injury when, around 11 p.m., a 24-year-old from Schwabhausen was hit in the face by an unknown perpetrator with a beer glass at the Ziegler tent;
The 24-year-old was taken to hospital to treat his cuts.
On Monday, no violent crimes were recorded at the festival site;
the police forces only had to intervene twice to settle the dispute.
