The South District Attorney's Office today (Tuesday) submitted to the Be'er Sheva District Court an indictment against Muhammad Abu Serihan, 41 years old, a resident of the Bedouin diaspora, who committed sexual offenses against a 16-year-old mentally retarded minor.
According to the indictment, the accused Abu Sarihan committed sodomy and indecent acts on the boy at various times for about a month, in his home and in the mosque, all while taking advantage of the fact that the complainant was mentally impaired and not with his free consent.

In some cases, the accused stripped the complainant of his clothes, bathed him in the mosque's shower and committed sexual offenses against him.
Also, after the accused finished carrying out his plan, in the mosque or at home, he slapped the complainant in the face and ordered him to return to his home.

The indictment attributes to the accused the commission of offenses of sodomy, causing sodomy and indecent act.
The prosecution filed a request to immediately arrest the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
