The scorpion did not let go and repeatedly stung the rescuer
In many cases we do good to another and expect to receive good in return and if we received bad - we get angry.
The Rebbe, Rabbi Yosiah Pinto, referred to this in his last lesson and even compared it with a parable

Many times we consider our actions according to what we receive, that is, we do good to the other and expect to receive good in return and if we received bad - we get angry.
Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto, the leader of "Shuba Yisrael", said in his last lesson that "we do good to others and sometimes receive evil, and we should know that our role is to influence good because the Holy One, blessed be He, said and not to receive good in return."
According to Rabbi Pinto, " As soon as we give in order to receive - it is called politics and it is not God's way.
What will the others do to us in return?
It is a matter of the other.
A person should have a good influence on the whole world and not weigh the good he does according to what he receives."
Rabbi Pinto illustrates this with a parable: There was a man with a good heart who saw a scorpion drowning in the sea. The man reached out and pulled the scorpion out of the water, but the scorpion did not return the favor. and stung his savior and fell into the water. Thus the good-hearted one brought out the scorpion again and again and each time it stung him.
