The Syrian Commission for Medical Specialties in the Ministry of Health announced the determinants of direct admission to a number of medical specialties that serve the ministry.
According to a statement of the authority, of which SANA received a copy, the specialties include anesthesia, resuscitation, intensive care, pathological anatomy, emergency medicine, family medicine, forensic medicine, psychological and physical medicine, rehabilitation, medical imaging and radiographic diagnosis.
The authority stated that the applicant is required to have a first university degree with an average of 50 percent and above, pointing out that applicants who had previous admission in the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher Education or the Military Medical Services have the right to register in the previous specializations, provided that a disengagement, dropout, or lack of Immediately on a date that is at least six months before the date of submitting the application, and this item does not include doctors who have completed the training period for the specialty.
In its statement, the authority indicated that the person who has exhausted the chances of failure in the first or final part exam is not entitled to register in the previous specialties unless he submits a written pledge in which he commits to numbering his registration in the previous admission and accordingly he is not entitled to take advantage of the exceptional opportunity, noting that doctors who obtained a first specialty can Physicians who wish to obtain a second specialty must register in the specialties that serve the Ministry, provided that they attach proof that they have completed their first specialty “a certificate of specialization, a statement of success, or a certificate of graduation from the specialty.”
The authority pointed out that direct registration is suspended during the period of announcing the comparisons until the results are issued.
