Eberhofer author places third art exhibition at the detective research site in Herrsching.

- For normal people it can be stressful to be surrounded by 100 listeners.
The bestselling author Rita Falk (Eberhofer crime novels) enjoyed the opening of the exhibition of her works in a cozy atmosphere in Herrsching like a wellness stay.
She has also experienced it differently: "Fans even climb over the partition walls in the toilet to get an autograph and say: Ms. Falk, I don't want to disturb you.
Then I say: already happened”, she says.
It is this snappiness that would be close to Monika Gruber if Rita Falk entered the cabaret stage as the third talent.
But she was in Herrsching on Friday "only" because of her second talent: painting.
"Originally, I saw writing as a hobby, until the third or fourth book, when my husband said to me: From now on, writing is your job."
Uli Weidenbach instead of a laudation at the beginning.
"And then I thought, if writing is now my job, then I need a new hobby now." It continued in a relaxed and funny way, from the first picture "Tulip field", which Falk's deceased husband misinterpreted as a detailed depiction of a woman - to the Timing with writing during the day, painting at night.
Because: “Sleep is overrated anyway.” On the other hand, it was of great value to Falk that she came into contact with Uli Weidenbach through the director of the Munich Crime Festival, Herrschingerin Sabine Thomas.
Because the gallery owner and hunter promptly moved into the focus of the crime author,
when she was researching for her new work "Rehragout-Rendezvous".
"So I was looking for an expert for this recipe and called Herrsching."
Weidenbach did not release the recipe without a test meal.
The two and a half hour feast in the Villa Carosa is reflected on page 292 of the new Eberhofer thriller, including the recipe.
"But I didn't reveal every kitchen secret," says Herrschinger with a smile.
He lifted the blinds of his art pavilion, in which 71 works by Rita Falk can be seen, all the more open-heartedly.
The few representational images show female figures with greatly simplified forms, sometimes somewhat mask-like, sometimes mythical, sometimes based on Gauguin.
The abstract paintings predominate and are sometimes reminiscent of the art of the 1950s.
Falk's background is sometimes turquoise, sometimes petrol, sometimes silver;
the dancing fields of color are sometimes swept rhythmically in brushstrokes, sometimes filled in like rainbow clouds.
Seen from a distance, a picture with sunflower-yellow, impasto horizontal stripes is also reminiscent of reflections in the water: perhaps of a sunrise over the Ammersee.
In any case, Mayor Christian Schiller grabbed it and acquired the painting for the community.
Another work by Rita Falk changed hands that evening under the benevolent gaze of LKA President Harald Pickert: an abstraction reminiscent of a nocturnal city scenery with many color reflections was handed over to the emeritus forensic medicine professor Wolfgang Eisenmenger, who presented the picture at a crime festival event in favor of the Munich blue light association, which is dedicated to public encounters in police work.
Thus, the crime festival remained the starting point and organizational framework of the exhibition.
