Member of the Zaporozhye District Administration Vladimir Rogov announced that the forces of the Kyiv regime bombed nuclear waste containers at the Zaporozhye nuclear plant.
"One of the shells fell only 10 meters from barrels containing nuclear waste, and since the site itself is open, the arrival of a shell or missile will lead to a violation of safety at the storage sites, and quantities of nuclear waste will spread in the environment, and the disaster will happen and it will be a dirty bomb," Rogoff was quoted by TASS news agency as saying. Pointing out that "the second weak point in the nuclear power plant is the cooling systems, which the Kyiv regime bombs continuously as well."
Rogov stressed that Kyiv is trying to disable the cooling system at the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, which could lead to a catastrophe greater than the disaster that occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear plant.
On the tenth of this month, Vladimir Rogov announced that the actions of the Kyiv regime and its deliberate bombing of the nuclear plant in Zaporozhye constituted a threat to Europe's nuclear security.
Earlier today, Russia called on the International Atomic Energy Organization and the United Nations to condemn the continuous bombing of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant in southern Ukraine by the Kyiv regime.
