This year marks the 25th anniversary of Princess Diana's death.

On August 31, 1997, the Queen of Hearts died in a car accident in Paris.

What really happened that fateful night, Prince Harry wants to bring to light.

Paris – August 31, 1997 changed Prince Harry's (37) life forever.

At around 4 a.m., Princess Diana (36, † 1997) was pronounced dead at the Hôpital de la Salpêtrière in Paris after suffering a car accident a few hours earlier.

The sudden death of his mother has apparently not let go of the Duke of Sussex to this day.

In his memoirs, Prince Harry wants to reveal what made him the man he is today.

One of the most formative experiences is undoubtedly the early death of his mother.

There are still rumors and theories surrounding Diana's accident in Paris, which her youngest son, who was 12 at the time, now seems to want to finally get rid of.

A picture that went around the world: Prince Harry followed the funeral procession for Princess Diana, who was buried on September 6, 1997, alongside brother William and father Charles.

According to media reports, Prince Harry sent a team of investigators to the French capital to reconstruct Lady Di's last hours.

According to "OK!", the investigations have so far come to nothing, but the 37-year-old does not want to give up.

I owe that to Mom," Harry is quoted as saying by "OK!"

25 years ago, Diana's car crashed into a tunnel pillar at more than 100 km/h while fleeing paparazzi, hours later the 36-year-old succumbed to her injuries.

The public will only find out in a few months whether the investigative team commissioned by Harry was able to bring new details to light.

Prince Harry's memoir, which is set to make shocking revelations, will be out later this year.
