A 19-year-old man was pulled from the water after drowning today (Wednesday) near the separate beach in Kinneret.
MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment and after advanced and prolonged resuscitation operations, the young man was taken to Furia Hospital in critical condition.
MDA medics Shlomi Peretz and Nissim Hilleli said: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw the rescuers taking a 19-year-old unconscious, breathless and pulseless young man out of the Kinneret on a kayak, after he had been missing for about an hour in the water.
We moved him to the beach and immediately began advanced and prolonged resuscitation operations and after resuscitation efforts on the beach we evacuated him to the hospital while continuing efforts to fight for his life."
