Tartous-Sana
Today in Tartous, a central celebration was held on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization under the slogan "Our hope is Bashar, to continue the journey", with the participation of the organization's branches from various Syrian governorates, in the hall of the Arab Cultural Center and the Corniche.
A member of the central leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, head of the Education and Pioneering Office, Yasser Al-Shoufi, referred in his speech to the role of the organization since its founding and the great care that the leadership gave it to grow, prosper, and raise the sons of the country, the promising generation, because they will carry the banner of defending and protecting it.
Al-Shufi greeted the Tartous Governorate with all its components, which embraced the people of Syria and was always present in science and culture and an example of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.
In turn, the head of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization, Izzat Arabi Katbi, pointed out the positive results of the participatory work with the Ministry of Education, which had an important impact on the success of the organization's activities and events in general.
The head of the organization’s branch in Tartous, Issa Owaijan, said in his statement to reporters that the Tartous governorate has embraced the children of the homeland and their supervisors.
The organization from all provinces to hold this national celebration that expresses love and loyalty to the homeland and the organization.
A number of participating children expressed their happiness at their belonging to the organization, which contributed to the development of their skills and talents, to be a miniature Syria, from the Syria of the Great Homeland.
The celebration, whose activities began in Tartous culture, featured a documentary film that included the first visit of the founding leader Hafez al-Assad to the Zabadani camps and excerpts from the organization’s activities. Several governorates also presented popular artistic performances and solo performances at the public concert that was held on the sea corniche in the city at the end of the celebration.
The ceremony was attended by Tartous Governor Abdel Halim Awad Khalil and the Secretary of the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch, Muhammad Habib Hussein.
