District/Würmtal – The municipal waste management company Starnberg (Awista) reports that the service provider Remondis, which is responsible for emptying the bins in the district of Starnberg, is currently unable to handle the waste tours in the way the citizens do due to a lack of staff, absences due to illness and vacation time and citizens are used to.
The following therefore applies to the district of Starnberg: If the container (residual waste, organic waste, paper bin and the yellow bag) is not emptied or picked up as usual on the day it is emptied, the municipal company asks you to leave the containers at the side of the road.
The bins will definitely be emptied in the next few days.
The Awista is aware of the problem and is working with the service provider to find a quick solution.
If you have any questions about waste disposal, the service center is available on 08151/2726-0 from Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
