Bouches-du-Rhône was one of the four departments of the Mediterranean arc still placed on orange alert by Météo France for the risk of thunderstorms this Wednesday evening.
"New storms are coming in to the south of Bouches-du-Rhône and the west of Vaucluse", warned the forecaster in his last bulletin.
“These storms are locally violent with strong rainfall intensities, still locally reaching 60 mm in a short time, with hail, and strong gusts of wind of around 80 to 100 km/h.
Eddy phenomena are also possible in coastal areas,” added Météo France.
