Clashes broke out this evening (Wednesday) between Palestinians and the security forces near Joseph's Tomb in Nablus.
Fire was opened at an IDF jeep, one bullet hit the windshield, no casualties among the fighters were reported. According to reports in Palestinian media, four residents of the PA were hit by IDF fire and taken to a local hospital.
Last week, IDF and IDF forces in Nablus killed a wanted Islamic Jihad operative, 18-year-old Ibrahim Al Nabulsi.
The security forces tried to arrest the terrorist, whose squad was eliminated last February, but there was an exchange of fire with Palestinians.
Red Crescent ambulances have so far evacuated 11 wounded Palestinians to the local hospital.
There are no casualties among the security forces.

The security forces tried to arrest the operative of the terrorist organization in the past, but he escaped, and since then a manhunt has been going on for him.
The fighters surrounded his house, used the "pressure cooker" method, to get him out of the building.
In the method, the fighters begin by announcing to the wanted to turn themselves in, then deteriorate the means they use to get the wanted out of the building.
In response, the terrorist opened fire at the security forces, and other armed men came to assist him.
The forces returned fire, and also used shoulder-fired missiles.
The Islamic Jihad operative was saved at the last moment from the killing of the cell last February.
Since then, he has become a hero on social media and has drawn quite a few young people to violent resistance against the IDF and Israeli civilians. In the eyes of Palestinian youth, the terrorist is portrayed as a hero. He recently attended the funeral of a gunman who was killed by IDF fire in broad daylight and disappeared again.
Palestinian media reported that he was recorded saying: "I am a prisoner, I am not surrendering, I am going to be a martyr, love my mother very much, protect the homeland after me."
