According to initial police findings, a 23-year-old woman was the victim of a violent crime.

Dead woman (23) discovered in a car in Ingolstadt: the police suspect a crime
At around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday night, rescue workers were called to Peisserstrasse in Ingolstadt.
A helpless person was reported in a car.
Police forces also drove to the scene.
The officers tried to resuscitate the 23-year-old woman - unsuccessfully.
The emergency doctor who was also involved in the operation could only determine the woman's death.
According to initial findings, the woman also comes from Ingolstadt and she was probably the victim of a violent crime.
In the night, the Ingolstadt criminal police took over the investigation in the case.
The Peisserstraße was closed to traffic until Wednesday morning, according to the press release from the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North.
Forensic teams are currently focusing on the vehicle while other officers shed light on the victim's vicinity.
No further details about the crime were initially known.
