In the shadow of the increasing contacts between the Islamic Republic and the powers, today (Wednesday) the regime's senior officials are expected to attend a closed discussion in the Iranian parliament regarding the nuclear agreement. The senior officials will give a briefing on the outline drawn up in a closed discussion in front of the legislature in Tehran.
In another attempt to demonstrate flexibility, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani said during the daily briefing that "we are ready to exchange prisoners with Washington. The US must release imprisoned Iranian citizens without any conditions."

"Iran has made it difficult for the US"
As mentioned, it is not clear so far whether the Iranians accepted the European proposal in full, in part or whether there are reservations, as hinted in the last two days.
However, in Tehran they insisted on transferring the responsibility of the negotiations to the Americans who last night (Tuesday) confirmed that they are looking into the issue.
At the same time, the regime prepares public opinion with a host of headlines bragging about Iran's negotiating abilities.
In the newspaper "Jaban" affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, it was written on the cover that "Iran has made it difficult for the US." In "Hayyan" affiliated with the Supreme Leader they wrote: "The ball is now in the West's court."
As a reminder, the deadline that the European representatives set for Tehran in an effort to revive the original nuclear agreement from 2015 expired on Monday.
The parties insisted that this is the last chance to reach an agreement after months of discussions within the framework of the "Vienna talks" which included nine rounds.

The Iranian team is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bakri Khani and on the other side are present the representatives of the countries that signed the original nuclear agreement from 2015, among them: China, Russia, Germany, Great Britain and France, with the US participating in the negotiations "indirectly" through the president's representative Joe Biden for the talks, Robert Mali, and the whole process is conducted by Enrique Mora, the deputy commissioner for foreign policy of the European Union.
